Just got ruined by everybody

I was in the mood to get my butt kicked so I dropped in on an EMU practice. Most of the 120 minute practice was solid with me holding my own against the three other swimmers (low attendance, friday... go figure). I felt like the warmup was a main set, which really isn't a great way to start out!

400 Easy

It was the intervals that killed me, it wasn't a particularly difficult practice but I was getting only a few seconds of rest in quite a few instances so it felt like I was swimming moderate or hard for 2 hours straight. Those 50's Free @:50 just wasn't enough for me, I was MAKING it on the :50 only to touch, turn around and start the main set.

I basically got ruined by two distance women on the team. I'm talkin' like 5+ seconds difference on some of those sets. Just horrible. Really the only set's I tore it up was the Fly and the 100's Back. Sad.

I'm going to meet with Coach Linn on Monday to discuss my summer training plans. I really value Coach Peter Linn, he's a great mind in the swimming world. More soon.
