I began week 5 of the P90X and its been rough. My schedule has been making it extra hard to get in he pool lately, I might only make it in 4 days this week due to pool closings.

Other than the crazy schedule, training has been going great, I'm feeling stronger and I notice more muscle definition lately.

Time to go swim!

1/3rd done with P90X

It's been slow going with the training lately, just so much going on. I've been getting in the pool 5 days a week and P90X a few times a week, at this rate I might finish the 90 program shortly before 2011.

I picked up a high speed camera last week which enables me to do super slow motion video at 210 frames a second, I've had plenty of fun with it already. Doing starts in slow motion is a great learning experience!

Hoping to train at EMU today :)

Local Hero Saves 12 Scuba Divers!

Perhaps it's tacky, however... I'm the hero today. Dare I say local legend.

At the end of my practice tonight the fire alarm was triggered in the building. The lifeguard calmly directed me to exit the pool. I was on my way out when I realized that 12 scuba divers were still diving down at the bottom of the deep end. These poor souls were perhaps only hours away from being burned to a crisp at the bottom of the pool unless I took immediate action!

I like this one! More to come!

Brighton Meet Results

It was a rough week training to say the least. Work consumed all waking hours which left little time for exercise or anything else for that matter, including sleep. I missed two days in the pool and three days of P90X.

So Busy

I've been keeping up with Swimming and P90X, working 16 hours a day, just no time left to blog. I'm noticing improvements across the board though! More updates soon (I hope!)
