Approaching 2 weeks of serious swimming

In the past I've found that it takes two weeks of hard workouts to "take off the edge" in a sense.  I'm a week and a half in.  I"m feeling a touch of speed returning.  I've been doing 2-3k SCM daily with dryland work during or after the workouts.  This is exactly what I need to be doing to get back into truly competitive swimming.

The motivation has returned

Last week I swam every day, two days achieving double workouts.  This week is off to a great start as well.  I feel motivated and I'm making time for my workouts.  I've transitioned from aerobic workouts for weight loss to power workouts to improve my speed.  This is huge progress.  It's all about consistency.  Keep it up.
