Swimmin' in the rain

It's a rare treat to swim in the rain.  Most rain is accompanied by some lightning or thunder which closes pools faster than you can you can imagine.  Yesterday it was just a light drizzle for most of the day.  I got to swim backstroke without staring into the sun the whole time.  The heavy cloud cover made it quite bearable to stare into the sky for 2 hours.  It was a great practice overall, I really enjoyed my practice, a full 5,700 meters Long course.  I also met Margret Kelly, a successful U of M swimmer who also swam at Olympic Trials.  She was practicing along side us.
I'm hoping to get in the pool today as well, but it's looking like a Gym Only day thus far.
