I just swam a 200 free?!

Its difficult to describe how much I didn't want to swim this event but I buckled under the peer pressure of Alec Mull and agreed. I warned the team how poorly I would swim but they wanted to give it a shot anyway. We were going after the National Record of 8:13.xx. The relay was comprised of:

Camron Mull
Kevin Doak
Patrick Saucedo
Alec Mull

All the other guys swam really solid times between 2:01's and 2:03's. I was a 2:07.1 and it felt every bit of that slow! We were all out in 58:xx and my endurance fell apart as usual and I brought it home in 1:05 or so... Ouch. Somehow it was enough to get the record with a 8:11.xx

Up next is the 400 Medley Relay! I get another shot at the 100 Back but I'm quite tired already, should be interesting!
