THATS how tired I am...

Well, I just woke up from a totally unintentional nap sitting straight up in a chair. I had a great practice in the pool, somewhere around 6,000 meters. it consisted of 5 times through 4x50's and 4x200's FRIM on a descending interval. I was doing great on the 50's as well as the 200's up till the last two. The interval on the FRIM (Free, Back Breast Free... aka FRee/IM) had gotten down to the 2:50 long course. This was really pushing it for me. I held on for as long as I could, I made 2 of the last 4 of the 200's. I just had nothing left to give after the 18x200's. I got some great support from a few fellow swimmers who knew I worked as hard as I could. I've enjoyed being part of the workout group, it's been a really positive experience!

I got home, ate some food and sat down to get some work done, only to somehow wake up 30 minutes later wondering what just happened! I admit I could probably fall asleep anywhere laying down, but sitting straight up in a chair is a new one for me. I feel refreshed and ready for the rest of the evening!

On the injury front... My elbow is feeling a little better, I knew it would just be a matter of time. I'm hoping I have less than a week till I'm 100% again. I've noticed my left knee is sore after some of the P90X, I need to be careful not to push the lunges too much and keep myself healthy. I'm enjoying getting in shape!

I'll add some meets to the Calendar soon, I'm doing the MSU Munley Meet, the CW meet in July, World Champ Trials and finishing the summer with Masters Long Course Nationals!
