I can proudly report that my first week of my gym membership has gone exactly to plan!
My theory was that if I had an actual location I could work out at, I would be far more effective than just lifting in my living room.
I've really been hustling in the weight room, this morning the gym was totally empty and I got my entire weight regiment done in 40 minutes. I was doing 2-3 machines per round meaning I would do anywhere from 8-12 reps on a machine with my arms, walk over to another machine, do 8-12 reps with my legs and then 30 ab reps. It worked great and I got more done in less time than usual. I remember in college I would just sit on the machine and wait the 30-60 seconds before starting a new round. I like this multi-tasking much better. It sure gets your heart pumping!
I've been slacking on getting into the pool. Today is my first day back in about a week.
