It's that time of year again! It's the Michigan State Masters Meet. This year it's hosted in Haslett, near Lansing. I have to say, I'm excited for the meet, but not excited about swimming in it... if that makes any sense.
This year, I'm the least physically prepared since my debut in Masters in 2005. I'll give it everything I've got, but I'm afraid it won't amount to much. My training has been quite touch and go lately. I'll have a great few days, and then I will make choices that don't create the opportunity to train for a day or two. It's ok to have a bad meet here and there but I'll do my best. I'm looking forward to catching up with some fellow Masters swimmers and competing in a new pool!
