Beep Beep
Beep Beep
Brace yourself.
I honked at somebody in the pool for the first time in my life.
I had a few water aerobic people crossing my lane and as we all smiled at each other, I felt it was probably appropriate to let out a little "beep beep". They seemed to respond well and courteously picked up the pace :)
Tonight I swam a solid 2,700 yard workout. I need to begin budgeting an hour or more to swim. Recently I'm MAKING it to practice enough, but not even getting to my bare minimum yardage goal of 3,000 yards a practice due to poor scheduling on my part. This weekend I chose not to attend the West Bloomfield Masters Meet. It was one of the first meets I could have gone to and I chose not to. They certainly put on a good meet over there but I just felt like NOT racing this weekend and I'm glad I took the weekend off. I heard they had a successful meet and the results look solid as well.
I've been doing great with regard to my dryland training. I have successfully re-integrated it into my daily routine. So far so good!
