The last few days my body has been in a constant pain from arm, leg and back workouts via P90X. I was uncomfortable doing pretty much everything including sitting. It was painful to walk, swim, lift anything and even buckle up. I had to reach for the belt in so much pain that it actually started reclining my seat to grab it!
You can imagine my excitement when I saw Yoga as my workout for last night! Even as sore as I was, I had perhaps my best yoga session ever. It was amazing! I'm very close to the ideal form in the video. I've found the last time I went through the program that its exponentially easier when you slack on the form. By doing each pose like the instructor it gets infinitely more difficult. I still have to become much more flexible but I'm very proud of where I am in only 2 weeks!
The fascinating story today is the fact that I could barely walk at 1am last night (this morning I suppose), and today I wake up 8 hours later and feel like a million bucks! I can barely believe it myself. Its just bizarre to me. That's by far the fastest physical recovery I've ever experienced. It was like night and day. Although not entirely scientific, its an interesting point for yoga.
