Ideal Training Day

I imagine anybody would agree that balancing a job and two workouts a day is a challenge. I can't even fathom what adding children or other responsibilities would mean for that equation. I give anybody credit who can pull it off.

It doesn't happen often, but I had an ideal training day today. A full work day followed by a 3,100 yard workout in the pool and a one hour Plyometric (jump training) workout in the evening. I'm sure I'll sleep well tonight!

For some reason the Plyometric session was so much worse this week. I had to take two short breaks this time. It was just too much for me today. I feel like I ate constantly today but once I started working out I felt undernourished all of a sudden. It's hard for me to even consider eating more than I am currently. It seems like I eat whenever I feel hungry but I may have to even step that up. It may be that I've drastically changed my training and my body hasn't adjusted to the barrage of workouts lately.

My entire body hurts, but it's worth it to improve.
