9Double World Record!

After further review our 200 Medley relay also broke the Masters World Record by 0.10 seconds! That makes two masters world records in one day!
The team was:
Kevin Doak
Patrick Saucedo
Camron Mull
Alec Mull
We had a huge relay day! We swam 4 Relays over the course of the session. I already mentioned how ugly the 800 Free Relay was... It was followed by a 400 Medley Relay which I lead off in a 1:00.1. I was disappointed with that time but I was also tired from the 200 free I swam shortly before hand. We had a 2 hour break before our 400 Free Relay so I had a chance to eat some food and take a 1 hour nap.
I woke up 20 minutes before my race and made the 15 minute brisk walk to the Natatorium. Jumped in for a quick 100 yard warmup and got up on the blocks to lead off our 400 Free Relay. Due to my poor performance in the 100 free yesterday I had something to prove to my team. I had a awesome race(for me)! I was out in a 25.1 and touched in a 54.13! Almost a full second faster than yesterdays 54.96! I REALLY needed that confidence booster!
We had about an hour before our 200 Medley relay so I decided to try out the Floom! For the people not familiar with what a "floom" is, a floom is a pool system that allows you to swim in a stationary position! I got video both underwater and above water to share with you later!
The 200 medley relay went great! I'm so proud of our team! Although all the guys had many great swims today, the last relay made us all step it up one more notch for our first World Record!
Count for the day:
4 Relay Masters American Records (800 Free, 400 Medley, 400 Free, 200 Medley)
1 Relay Masters World Record (200 Medley)
1 Personal Masters World Record (50 Backstroke)
Of course it all happens on 8-8...
