Amazing Night!

Tonight I saw a few American Records fall and I got to catch up with a lot of nice people from the swimming community. I had a good conversation with my friend Kara Lynn Joyce and also got to meet Olympian Cullen Jones. Cullen seems like a really nice, down to earth guy. I'm really impressed with what he's doing with minority swim programs.

As far as my swimming goes, nothing really went to plan tonight but that's ok. I had planned on time trialing the 50 free but misinterpreted the schedule and have to do it tomorrow. I then planned on swimming a fast 50 free after the session but they closed the competition pool after the meet. My Speedo Brief race suit ripped and I'm forced to wear my backup Speedo FS-Pro Jammer. I wanted to go "no-tech" but this still isn't a tech suit.
