Busy!

I've never been so busy in my entire life. Since this website is dedicated to the sport I love and its balance in my life, I can tell you that lately its been a real challenge.

I've filled my days with almost constant work and up to 4 hours of exercise per day 7 days a week. A typical day has me running around to appointments, taking calls then jumping in the pool to practice and then working through the evening. I end my day with a 1.5 hour P90X. I feel slammed busy and tired all day but at the same time energized from all that I'm accomplishing!

The one thing missing is a solid night of sleep. I'm up too late and up too early. I'm going to try and rest a little more and get on a good sleep schedule.

In the pool today I was pushed by quite a few people. Lori Morton and Scott Murphy were both tearing it up on the kick sets, I had trouble keeping up after last nights leg and ab workout. I can tell I'm getting faster and more consistent. Today I was swimming backstroke 100's fast on the 1:09 with 10 seconds of rest. My 100's free were 1:06's long course meters. This is a huge improvement for me.

My weight dipped to 168.7 yesterday. I'm eating constantly, I don't know what's going on.

I'm still having elbow trouble from last week when it "popped" while stretching it hard. I'm feeling like I may need to give it a few days off and only do kicking workouts. I don't think I'm giving it ample time to heal itself.

The Club Wolverine meet is this weekend at EMU. The meet filled up immediately even though I got my entry in on time. I might go watch the competition though.
