Visiting Coach Jones

Today I made it a priority to visit Coach Jones in hospital. This is one of those times I wish I could write more on my blog, but it's not appropriate. I'll keep it simple:

• Coach Mike Jones is one of my idols, he's a person who has brought joy to thousands of local athletes with his unique personality and coaching abilities. I, like many others in the area have the distinct honor of knowing him. I'm with every other current and formers swimmer who is wishing him a full recovery. Coach Jones is in my thoughts daily.

After I visited Coach Michael H. Jones, I went to swim in the Michael H. Jones Natatorium for a bit. My practice overlapped with the college swimmers for a while. The team seems to be swimming well and they're looking forward to their intersquad meet in just over a week.
