Two great days of training

I did about 2.4 miles on Tuesday. Three laps instead of two. It was at a slower pace than normal, a 7:36, 8:24, and 8:15. I'm happy that I got closer to the 3.1 miles I'll do on Saturday. I'll run one more time before Saturday. I also swam 3,200 Long Course Meters and did some dryland training.

On Wednesday I swam 3,100 Long Course Meters, and did dryland training along with weights. Afterward, I ran back to my car about a half mile. I like working in small athletic feats throughout my work days.

I've been listening to an audio book given to me by my friend Chetan. It's call "5 forces of wellness" by Mark Hyman M.D. So far it's been fantastic. It gives seemingly endless tips on improving health and detoxifying your body. I have a long way to go, but the information is a great first step. It prompted me to stop buying white flour products today at the grocery store. White flour (or processed flour) products are defined as bread products that don't use the entire wheat seed. Most of these products use a form of bleach to preserve the bread for long shipments. One of the many steps I'd like to take to improve my overall health. Another tip is to exercise at least 5 times a week. I think I have that one covered, at least I'm doing something right!
