Ok, so a few world records were broken today at the 2008 Summer Olympics, you can read about it on almost any news site. This next video meant more to me than any of that:

This video was taken at the 2008 GTAC (Greater Toledo Aquatics Club) meet that was held at Eastern Michigan University a few months ago. I volunteered at the meet and the experience just blew me away. It was eye opening, meaningful, sad and happy all at the same time. This was my first experience watching a disability meet. You can see me and my friend Sarah timing in lane one at about the 2:28 mark.
I've taken this whole week off swimming, it's been tough NOT getting in the pool actually. I miss it a lot! I'll be glad to get back in on Monday. I would definitely be watching the Olympics if I had a TV. Hopefully I can find a place online to watch the live feed. I trust everybody is following the games! Go USA!
