Trials and PB+J Promotion

I feel like I see advertisements for the Olympic Trials everywhere! There are banners and signs all over the airport. While waiting for my rental car I was informed that Eppley airport is actually ranked as the "cleanest airport in the world". I will admit it looked pretty spiffy.



Hertz took their sweet 'ol time fixing me up with my Hyundai Sonata (midsize car) and recommended that I get something to eat in the mean time. Below is a picture of thir sad attempt at selling me a PB+J for $2.00. Lets analyze this: If they had any idea how incredible you can prepare a PB+J they would be charging much more than $2.00. Which leads me to believe that it's either a sub-par sandwich or perhaps the best deal in prepared food ever. I wasn't about to pay $2.00, the girl making them looked like a rookie.



The hotel is nice, the staff is friendly and it's going to be hard to resist their "waffle bar" as part of their complementary continental breakfast!

I also took a picture of the "Mutual of Omaha" building near the downtown area, which has a massive banner of a swimmer plastered all over it. They've done a great job transforming this town! I'm gonna crash for a bit then go get some food and practice a little at the Qwest Center.
