No more morning practices!
No more morning practices for me. I'm making sure I get at least 8 hours of sleep and wake up by 9:30am. This prepares me for a 8:30am wake up time in the Central time zone, plenty of time to get to the Qwest Center and warm up for an 11:00am preliminary session.
I'll probably make a trip to a swim shop today between appointments to pick up some new goggle lenses and bungee goggle straps. I'll make a few pairs of goggles and have time to test them out before trials. I've always liked the process of buying and building new goggles, there's just something refreshing about a new piece of equipment. It makes me feel like a new and improved swimmer. I'll be making at least 3 pairs of goggles, and choose the two pairs I like (the chosen ones). I'll carry these with me to the blocks at trials. There's nothing worse than getting to the blocks and having your goggles break when you put them on. This is a low probability because mine will be new, but it's happened to me before.... Just trying to think of everything.
