My World Record Was Broken!

Posted by Kevin Doak on Wednesday at: 9:31pm (March 3rd, 2010)
I got an email from Skip today informing me that my 50 Back Long Course Meters World Record of 26.64 was broken by an Olympian from Japan. Here is his Wikipedia information:

Junichi Miyashita (宮下 純一 Miyashita Junichi?, born October 17, 1983 in Kagoshima) is a Japanese swimmer. He won a bronze medal in the men's 4 x 100 metre medley relay at the 2008 Summer Olympics.

He swam a 26.58 to break my 26.64 I swam in August at the Masters Long Course Nationals. Congrats to Junichi! Records are made to be broken! It gives me something to shoot for. Thank you Junichi!
